Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Skills.pub ("we", "us"), the operator of skills.pub (the "Service"). By creating an account, buying credits or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or make a purchase.

skills.pub is a directory of Agent Skills for Claude and compatible AI agents. We index skills from public GitHub repositories and show their descriptions, source links and install instructions. Browsing the directory is free and does not require an account.

Signed-in users can submit skills, create and share skill collections, and buy credits. Credits pay for promotions: a promotion shows a skill in a sponsored slot, labelled as sponsored, for 7 days.

skills.pub is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic. "Claude" is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC.

Skills listed on the Service are written and maintained by third parties. We do not author, audit or guarantee them. Review a skill's source before you install or run it.

You can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You must give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

Credits are sold in one-time packs. US$1 buys 100 credits, and larger packs include bonus credits. The current packs are:

• Pack S: US$5 for 500 credits.
• Pack M: US$9 for 1,000 credits (900 + 100 bonus).
• Pack L: US$19 for 2,200 credits (1,900 + 300 bonus).

A 7-day promotion currently costs 500 credits. The price shown at checkout and on the promotion page at the time you buy or spend is the price that applies.

Credits are added to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. When you request a promotion, its credits are held until the promotion is approved and starts. If the promotion is rejected or cannot start, the held credits return to your balance.

Credits are a prepaid licence to use features of the Service. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the Service, except as described in the Refunds section.

Credit purchases are processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as the merchant of record for these orders. Waffo Pancake handles payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Your bank statement may show Waffo Pancake or its operating entity rather than us.

Each purchase is a single charge. We do not sell subscriptions for credits and you will not be charged again unless you place another order. Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.

Card and other payment details are entered on the payment provider's checkout and are not stored by us.

Sponsorship subscriptions bought before credits were introduced were processed by Creem and remain subject to the terms shown when they were bought.

Credits are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase, including bonus credits that came with the pack. Unused credits expire at the end of that period. Credits closest to expiry are spent first.

Credits we grant for free, such as promotional or goodwill credits, may have a shorter validity, which we tell you when we grant them. Free credits are not refundable.

If you ask us to close your account, or we close it for a reason other than your breach of these Terms, you may request a refund of unused, unexpired purchased credits within 30 days of closure by writing to onboard@skills.pub. If we close your account because you breached these Terms, unused credits are forfeited.

Credits are delivered immediately after payment, so purchases are generally non-refundable once their credits have been used. The following exceptions apply:

• Unused credits within 7 days: you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if none of that pack's credits have been used.
• Duplicate or incorrect charge: we refund any billing error in full.
• Promotion not delivered: if a promotion is rejected or cannot start, its credits return to your balance automatically.
• Statutory rights: if the law where you live gives you a right of withdrawal or refund (for example the 14-day withdrawal right in the EU and UK), that right is preserved. By spending credits you ask us to perform the service immediately, and your withdrawal right ends for the credits you spent.

To request a refund, email onboard@skills.pub from your account email with your order number and the reason. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are paid in full to the original payment method through the payment provider, usually within 5–10 business days, and the pack's unused credits are removed from your balance.

Not refundable: credits already spent on a promotion that has started, expired credits, free or promotional credits, and purchases on accounts closed for breach of these Terms.

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us at onboard@skills.pub before disputing it with your bank. We respond within 2 business days and correct confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

Skills remain the property of their authors and are available under the licence in their own repository. skills.pub shows public information about them and links to the source. Authors can ask us to correct or remove a listing by writing to onboard@skills.pub.

When you submit a skill or buy a promotion, you confirm that you have the right to publish it and that it complies with these Terms. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, index and promote the submitted information on the Service and in related search and social previews.

We review every promotion and may refuse one that breaks these Terms or is misleading. Automated tools, including a third-party AI model, help screen submissions and promotions using only their public content; the result may be wrong, and a person reviews before a paid promotion is refused. Promoted skills are always labelled as sponsored; a promotion is not an endorsement.

The site's design, text and code, other than third-party skill content, belong to us or our licensors.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• submit or promote skills that contain malware, steal credentials or data, or make hidden network calls;
• publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or that sexualises minors;
• impersonate a person or project, or claim ownership of a skill you do not maintain;
• infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• manipulate rankings, impressions or clicks, or scrape the Service at a rate that degrades it;
• circumvent or interfere with security features, or pay with a payment method you are not authorised to use;
• violate any applicable law, regulation or card network rule.

We may remove content, end a promotion or suspend an account that breaks this section. A promotion ended for this reason is not refunded.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Payment card data is processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider and is never stored on our servers. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY LISTED SKILL IS SAFE, ACCURATE OR FIT FOR YOUR USE, AND WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY NUMBER OF IMPRESSIONS, CLICKS OR INSTALLS FROM A PROMOTION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKILLS.PUB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it. You may close your account at any time by writing to onboard@skills.pub. Section 6 explains what happens to unused credits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at onboard@skills.pub so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms. We will email registered users about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect, and the version and effective date at the top of this page always show the current text. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept it. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

These Terms are written in English. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text governs.
