A quick review checks that you own the repository and that the listing is complete. You are only charged after approval.

What sponsored means here
Always labelled
Every sponsored card says “Sponsored” and links here. Search engines see rel="sponsored" on every link.
Never for sale: ranking or indexing
Hot skills, search results and which pages get indexed are decided the same way with or without payment. Visits from sponsored cards do not count toward the hot ranking.
Honest counting
An impression needs at least half the card on screen for one second, counts once per visitor every 30 minutes, and excludes bots and automated browsers.
Fair rotation
We cap how many sponsors run on each surface, so your share is predictable. With at most 9 Pro sponsors, each appears on at least a third of homepage views.
Questions authors ask
What exactly am I paying for?
Labelled placement for one skill on the pages your plan covers, rotated fairly among sponsors, plus exposure reports. You are not buying ranking, indexing, reviews or a quality badge.
Will sponsoring improve my organic ranking or SEO?
No, and that is deliberate. Sponsored links are marked rel="sponsored", organic rankings ignore payment, and visits from sponsored cards are excluded from the hot ranking.
How many people will see my skill?
We don’t guarantee a number. We publish the site’s real reach above, cap sponsors per surface so your share is predictable, and report exactly what your placement received.
How do you count impressions and clicks?
At least 50% of the card visible for one second in an active tab, once per visitor every 30 minutes. Bots, crawlers and automated browsers are excluded. A click is counted when someone opens your skill from the card.
Monthly plan or Launch Boost?
They cost the same. A Pro month gives you 30 days, weekly reports and renews until you cancel. Launch Boost gives 7 days of the same placement and never renews — good for a launch, worse value for anything longer.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime from the billing portal. Your placement keeps running until the end of the period you paid for and you are not charged again.
Who can sponsor a skill?
The author or maintainer of a skill already listed on skills.pub that passes our quality check. We confirm you control the repository before you pay.
My skill isn’t listed yet. What now?
Submit the repository for free. Once it is listed and passes the quality check, you can sponsor it.
Who handles payment, invoices and tax?
Creem acts as merchant of record: it processes the payment, issues the invoice and handles VAT and sales tax. We never see your card details.
Is skills.pub affiliated with Anthropic?
No. skills.pub is an independent, third-party directory of Agent Skills.
