social-selling-routine
Use this skill when a seller or founder wants a repeatable daily LinkedIn social selling routine that fits in 30-45 minutes: "build my social selling routine", "what should I do on LinkedIn every day", "how to sell on LinkedIn consistently". Sets a daily and weekly cadence for posting, commenting, connecting, messaging and following up, with targets, a tracking sheet and the weekly review that tells you what to change.stars—

Use this when LinkedIn activity is sporadic: a burst of posting, then nothing for a month. It produces a routine short enough to keep and specific enough to measure.
Inputs
- Target accounts and personas.
- Time available per day.
- Current activity: posts per week, connections, messages, replies.
The play
1. The daily block (30-45 minutes)
| Minutes | Activity | Target |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Check notifications; reply to comments and messages | Every reply within the day |
| 10 | Comment on 5-8 posts from target buyers and the voices they follow | 5+ thoughtful comments |
| 10 | Send connection requests with notes to today's list | 10-20 requests |
| 10 | First messages to new connections; follow-ups due today | All due messages |
| 5 | Log meetings, replies and anything worth a post | Updated sheet |
2. The weekly layer
- 2 posts a week (one practical, one story or opinion).
- Refresh the target list: add 50-100 new people, remove those who declined or went cold.
- 30-minute review on Friday (below).
3. Track five numbers
Connection requests sent, acceptance rate, conversations started (replies), meetings booked, and posts published. Followers and impressions are vanity unless the right people are in them.
4. Weekly review
| If | Then |
|---|---|
| Acceptance under 25% | Tighten targeting or fix the profile and note |
| Accepted but few replies | First message is a pitch; make it a question about their world |
| Replies but no meetings | Bridge to the problem earlier; offer something concrete |
| Posts get likes from peers, not buyers | Write about buyer problems, not your industry gossip |
5. Protect the account
Stay well inside invitation and message limits, avoid browser extensions that automate actions in ways the platform prohibits, and keep pending invitations under a few hundred by withdrawing old ones.
What good looks like
- Done four or five days a week for a quarter, not seven days for two weeks.
- The numbers move: acceptance, conversations and meetings, in that order.
- The common mistake is treating posting as the whole strategy; most meetings come from conversations, which come from connecting and commenting.
Rules
- MUST keep activity inside safe platform limits.
- MUST review the numbers weekly and change one thing at a time.
- NEVER buy followers, engagement pods or fake engagement.
Example prompts
- "Build me a 30-minute daily LinkedIn routine. I'm a founder selling to HR leaders."
- "Review my last month of LinkedIn numbers and tell me what to change."
- "Make a tracking sheet for my team's social selling."
